Private mood tracker app with no account
Pixy helps you understand what makes you feel this way, without handing your journal to anyone. No account, no AI, no cloud copy: your entries stay on your phone.
Where do my entries go?
Your journal stays on your phone. No account, no server copy, nothing to sign in to.
What Pixy sends, and what it never sends
Private does not mean nothing leaves the phone. Here is the full list.
In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, usage data is off until you choose to share. Elsewhere it is on by default. Turn it off any time in Settings > Privacy > Behavioral Data.
Older versions sent more. Before 1.105.0, usage data also included your mood rating, emotions, and sleep rating, never notes or tag names. As of October 30, 2026, the stores still offer older versions. Turn usage data off in Settings > Privacy > Behavioral Data, or update once 1.105.0 or later is out.

Before you install, check which of these four models an app uses. It decides who can see your journal.
- 1
Only on your phone
No account. Nothing to breach on a server. You handle backups yourself. Pixy works this way.
- 2
Phone plus your own cloud backup
Entries live on the phone. A backup goes to your iCloud or Google Drive, under your account.
- 3
In the company's cloud
You sign up and entries sync to the company's servers. Handy across devices, but a copy sits with them.
- 4
Sent to an AI service
AI journals send what you write to a model provider to get a reply. Read who that provider is.
What a no-account app asks of you
Keeping everything on the phone has costs. These are Pixy's.
How to check any mood app's privacy
Five checks, two minutes, before you write anything personal.
- 1
Read the privacy label
Open "App Privacy" on the App Store or "Data safety" on Google Play. Look for "Data linked to you" and health data.
- 2
See if it asks you to sign up
A sign-up screen usually means your entries sync to a server.
- 3
Find where backups go
Your own iCloud or Google Drive is under your control. A company server is not.
- 4
Check for AI features
AI summaries and chat send your text to a model provider. Check if you can turn them off.
- 5
Make sure you can leave
Look for free export to JSON or CSV. If export costs money, your history is locked in.
