Pixy
Getting Started

Is Pixy still maintained?

Yes

Yes. Pixy is in active development again since July 2026. The source code had 30 releases from version 1.86.1 (July 31, 2026) to 1.109.0 (October 30, 2026). The App Store has version 1.102.0 (October 26, 2026), and Google Play has version 1.95.2 (October 18, 2026).

Pixy had a long pause in updates before 2026. Pages written during that pause, like old directory entries and reviews, still call Pixy discontinued or mention a planned Pixy 2. That is out of date: development continues on the same app.

  • Recent updates added emotion icons, a faster calendar, and several entries per day.
  • Still the same: free, no ads, no account, no AI.
  • Your entries stay on your phone, so updates never touch a server copy.

Check the latest version yourself: the changelog on pixy.day, the releases on GitHub, or the version history in the App Store and Google Play.
