Pixy
Backup, Export, and New Phones

How do I move Pixy to a new phone?

Export a JSON file on your old phone, then import it on the new phone in Settings > Data > Import. This also works from iPhone to Android and back.

  1. 1Old phone: open Settings > Data > Export > JSON.
  2. 2Save the file where the new phone can reach it: iCloud Drive, Google Drive, email, or a messaging app.
  3. 3New phone: install Pixy and open Settings > Data > Import.
  4. 4Confirm Import and pick the JSON file.
  5. 5Wait for "Import successful".

After the import, open Settings > Reminder once to set up your reminder again.

Can I use Pixy on more than one device?

Not at the same time. Pixy does not sync between devices. You can move your entries to another device with a JSON export and import, but import replaces what is there instead of merging.

Yes, with Pixy Switch. It converts the export of your old app into a Pixy file in your browser, and you import that file in Settings > Data > Import. It supports Daylio, Bearable, Day One, How We Feel, Apple Journal, and 16 more apps.
