Pixy
Backup, Export, and New Phones

How do I back up my Pixy data?

Partly

Export a backup file yourself: Settings > Data > Export > JSON, then save it to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or another safe place. Pixy has no automatic cloud backup today.

  1. 1Open Settings > Data.
  2. 2Under Export, tap JSON. This file holds all entries, tags, and settings.
  3. 3In the share sheet, save the file to Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or send it to yourself.

Repeat this now and then, for example once a month. To restore, use Settings > Data > Import on any phone.

My entries are missing. How do I get them back?

First check the calendar filters: an active filter hides days. If entries are really gone, restore your latest JSON export in Settings > Data > Import. Pixy keeps no copy on a server.
